A 501(c)(3) non-profit uniting schools, artists and technology - to ensure that every student in Hawaiʻi has the opportunity to learn, play and create music in school.
OUR MISSION
LŌKAHI is a Hawaiian word that means unity, harmony, and oneness. We have a collective vision to give all students, no matter their circumstances, access to high-quality music education.
WHAT WE DO
We build technology-enabled, interdisciplinary, culturally-relevant music programs. Our approach centers on ‘kumu’ (educators) and equips them with training, a community of practice and teaching resources that amplify their impact.
NEW
We're excited to announce our second annual Ho'olōkahi lyrics writing challenge! This creative competition invites students from public and private schools across Hawaii to integrate ukulele and lyric writing, showcasing their musical talents. Winners have a chance to receive a special classroom visit from Paula Fuga! Registration and submission details available today.
