This course provides an introduction to the 2025-2026 Ho’o Lōkahi Lyric Writing Challenge to your students. 
In this section of the Teacher Toolkit, students will be introduced to what lyrics are and their relationship to a song’s melody. They’ll learn about things to consider when writing their own lyrics and listen to the song they will be writing lyrics for, “The Aloha Jam”.
